A storage yard is typically an outdoor area used for large items or containers, while a warehouse is a covered building designed for indoor storage and inventory management.

  • Typically a building designed specifically for storage, often featuring multiple levels or sections.
  • Examples: Distribution centers, cold storage facilities, or general storage warehouses.
