Warehouse:
- Designed to store goods in a controlled indoor environment for longer periods, often as part of a broader supply chain.
- Typically a building designed specifically for storage, often featuring multiple levels or sections.
- Examples: Distribution centers, cold storage facilities, or general storage warehouses.
- Characteristics:
- Indoor, climate-controlled environment.
- Focuses on inventory management and organization.
- May include specialized equipment for loading, unloading, and handling goods.
